Job Title: Remote Bookkeeper (Based in Jakarta, Indonesia) for Australian Clients

Company Overview: We are a growing Australian-based BPO looking for a talented bookkeeper based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Our clients rely on us for accurate and timely financial records, and we are committed to delivering outstanding service us...ing cloud-based solutions like Xero.

Role Overview: As a Remote Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing bookkeeping tasks for Australian clients using Xero. You will handle day-to-day financial transactions, bank reconciliations, and assist in preparing financial reports. This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and looking to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records for Australian clients using Xero
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Assist in preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
• Manage payroll processing as needed
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations
• Communicate with Australian clients and the internal team via email or online calls
• Assist in other administrative accounting tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting practices and tax regulations (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills in English
• High attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work from home
• Experience working with Australian clients (preferred)
